He holds a Master of Science degree in Control Engineering obtained from Coventry University, UK in 2012 and possesses 13 years of teaching experience in the field of Electrical Engineering. He served as HND programme coordinator from 2007 to 2011, Project Coordinator from 2013 to 2018 and currently the departmental examination officer. He has also been acting for Head of department on a number of occasions. He has attended both national and international conferences and published many articles in peer-reviewed journals. He is a registered member of Council for the Regulation of Engineering (COREN/REG/R.42,257) and possesses a technical background with many years of diversified service experience in electrical, electronics, systems and control. Other services rendered include among others equipment maintenance and repair skills, design and development of renewable energy systems and computer simulations. Vast experience in the execution of custom designed projects to address user needs based on available technologies. He was involved in 4 different TETFUND sponsored research projects and served as Lead and Co-researcher

Aliyu Tukur is currently pursuing his PhD degree in Electrical Engineering at Bayero University Kano, Nigeria, he obtained a master degree in Electrical Engineering from Bayero University Kano, Nigeria in 2010. His current research interest is Fuel Energy. Aliyu has attended various national conferencesand has publications in both local and international journals. He was the Examination Officer of Electrical Engineering Department from 2013 to 2019 and has been representing the HOD at various Academic Board meetings for consideration of semester examination results. He has been a resource person for NBTE in both resources inspection and accreditation exercise for ND and HND programmes. He joined the services of Hassan Usman Katsina Polytechnic in the year 2002 and rose to the rank of Principal Lecturer in July, 2019. He has registered with various professional bodies including Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) and Teachers RegistrationCouncil of Nigeria (TRCN). He is happily married with six children.

Sada Iliya received the B.Eng degree from Bayero University Kano, Nigeria in 2001 and M.Eng Degree from the same university in 2012. He is presently a senior lecturer in the Department of Electrical Engineering, Hassan Usman Katsina Polytechnics. His main research area includes power system operation and control. Sada is aregistered professional Engineer in Nigeria

Isah Idris Abubakar is currently a chief instructor in Electrical Engineering Department, College of Engineering. Hassan Usman Katsina Polytechnic. He obtained National Diplomain Electrical Engineering at Hassan Usman Katsina Polytechn ic in 1989, Higher National Diploma(Power and Machines) at Kaduna Polytechnic in 1998 and Technical Teachers certificate(TTC) in 2003 at College of Education Technical Bichi. Isah is a registered member of the National Association of Technologies in engineering(NATE).

Bara’u Musa Alhassan is currently in charge of Special Intervention Laboratory/multi-purpose laboratory renovated and well equipped by TetFund under the supervision of NBTE (National Board for Technical Education). He obtained a post-graduate diploma electrical/electronic (PGDEE) From Bayero University Kano (B.U.K) (2006). Barau Musa Alhassan also obtained a post graduate Diploma in Technical Education (PGDTE) From Hassan Usman Katsina polytechnic (H.U.K) (2010). He specialized in conducting electrical/electronic practicals with students in the laboratory. He has design and constructed many projects, among which one of them (design and construct of energy meter fraud detecting system) EMFDS which was taken to Abuja for exposition and become first in the year 2019. He worked with various federal government parastatals among which are (Nitel&M-tel) and holds the position of Deputy General Manager (DGM). He joined the service of Hassan Usman Katsina Polytechnic in the year 2008. He has registered with, (COREN) council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria. He was happily married and the marriage was blessed with seven children.

Ibrahim Yusuf Had a Bachelor’s Degree in Physics From Umaru Musa Yaradua University in the year 2018. He Also Obtained Higher National Diploma In Electrical Engineering From Hassan Usman Katsina Polytechnic In 2010. He Had Professional Diploma In Education From Institute of Education, Ahmadu Bello University Zaria. Before joining the polytechnic in 2018, Ibrahim yusuf worked in various places including at Jul global investment resources Nigeria, limited, Abuja and Dana steel company limited, katsina. He is happily married.
