Goodwill Message: On behalf of members of staff and students of the College of Engineering, I wish to warmly welcome you to the College. The College of Engineering was established in 2006 with three departments, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering and Electrical Engineering with the departments offering National Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical and Civil Engineering. A new Department of Welding and Fabrication Engineering was created in 2011 and a National Diploma program in Welding and Fabrication Engineering was introduced in the 2011/2012 session. The College had witnessed tremendous achievements over the years, currently apart from the National Diploma programs the college also offers Higher National diploma and courses in Mechanical, Civil and Electrical Engineering and certificate Courses in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Technology. The College is preparing to start higher National Diploma in Welding and Fabrication Engineering from the 2020/2021 session.

Department of Civil Engineering The Department offers Higher and National diploma programs in Civil Engineering. The department has the following laboratories:
  1. Soil laboratory
  2. Structural/ concrete laboratory
  3. Transportation laboratory
  4. Water and Waste water laborator
    5. The laboratories carry out tests such as natural moisture content determination, Sieve analysis. Specific gravity, Atterherg limit test, Compaction test C.B.R. test, Shear box test Consolidation test, Concrete test, Cement test, Reinforcement test, Asphalt mix design, water test etc.
Department of Electrical Engineering The Department offers Higher and National diploma programs in Electrical Engineering. The department has the following laboratories:
  1. Electrical/Computer laboratory.
  2. Electrical installation and maintenance workshop
  3. Electrical power and machine laboratory
  4. Skill G Tetfutnd Intervention general laboratory
  5. Measurement and Instrumentation laboratory
  6. Telecommunication laboratory
  7. Digital Electronics/ Microprocessor laboratory
  8. Control laboratory
The department has skilled manpower and resources to undertake consultancy services, installation and maintenance of all electrical and electronic systems.
Department of Mechanical Engineering The department offers Higher and National diploma programs in Mechanical Engineering. The department has the following laboratories/ Workshops.
  1. Materials Science laboratory.
  2. Foundry Workshopworkshop
  3. Refrigeration and Air conditioning laboratory
  4. Skill G Tetfutnd Strength of materials laboratory
  5. Fitting workshoplaboratory
  6. Automobile /Autotronics workshop
  7. Digital Welding workshop

  12. Mechanics of machines laboratory

The department can undertake any fabrication job, automobile fault detection through the use of modern OBDII diagnostic kit and machining jobs etc.
Department of Welding and Fabrication Engineering The department offers National diploma in Welding and Fabrication Engineering Technology. Preparations are underway for the department to start Higher National diploma in 2020/2021 session. The department has the following workshops/ laboratories:
  1. Fitting / fabrication workshop
  2. Metallurgy laboratory
  3. Metrology laboratory
  4. Welding workshop
The department can undertake fabrication and highly skilled welding jobs.
