Mustapha Sani was born on 29th Nov, 1989. He obtained his first school leaving certificate from Ideal International School Funtua in the year 2002. He attended Barewa College Zaria were he obtained his secondary school certificate in the year 2008. Upon graduating from Barewa College Zaria, He gained admission into Nuhu Bamalli Polytechnic Zaria for IJMB program in the year 2009. He was offered admission into the department civil engineering Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, were he obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) in the year 2015.

Mustapha started working with Brains & Hammers a real estate development company in the year 2017; He later joined the service of Hassan Usman Katsina Polytechnic in late 2017. He is recently appointed as an assistant examination officer of civil engineering department. He is happily marriage and blessed with a child.

Worked with ZEN engineering company, Afdin Construction Company, Gas engineering company and Danliman Construction Company in full time and part time. Employed in the polytechnic as Casual staff in the year 2016 and later confirmed as permanent staff in the year 2017. Currently Civil engineering Department SIWES Coordinator

Abubakar Yahuza Adam was born on 03/04/1984 in Bindawa, Bindawa Local Government Katsina State. I have a Higher National Diploma in Civil Engineering from Hassan Usman Katsina Polytechnic in 2012. I have works with different construction Companies, such as ZEN Engineering in 2013 @ New Government House Katsina, I also work with Abumaira Nig. Ltd. @ AAAMCO Okene CBN Intervention Project 2013. Abubakar have joined the service of Hassan Usman Katsina Polytechnic in the year 2017. However I am currently In charge of Structural Laboratory Civil Engineering Hassan Usman Katsina Polytechnic. I am happily married and the marriage is blessed with two children.

Engr. Ibrahim Abubakar MNSE FNICE is currently the Head of Department, Department of Civil Engineering. He has a Masters degree in Civil Engineering with specialization in Civil Engineering Construction Materials from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria in 2004. He has attended various conferences and has published in reputable local and international journals. Engr. Abubakar joined the service of Hassan Usman Katsina Polytechnic in the year 2006. He has served under various committees within the Polytechnic and at the national levels of the Nigerian Society of Engineers and the Nigerian Institution of Civil Engineers. He is the immediate past Chairman, Nigerian Society of Engineers, Katsina Branch. Current Chairman, Nigerian Institution of Civil Engineers, Katsina Chapter. He has registered with various professional bodies including Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) and the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN). He is happily married and the marriage is blessed with six children.

Engr Dr Nura Usman holds PhD and Master Degree in Civil Engineering both from Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM). He specialized in Highway and Transportation Engineering; his research interests are Asphalt Technology, Soil behaviour under loading and Traffic Management. He is an active member of Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) and Nigerian Association of Technologist in Engineering (NATE). He is registered Engineer and also registered Engineering Technologist by Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN). He has published about twenty (20) research articles in reputable Journals, Conference proceedings and Book chapters. He has attended a dozen of professional and academic seminars/trainings/workshops. He conducted five (5) researches and one fabrication project. He won three (3) Golds, One Silver and One Bronze in International Research and Innovation Festivals. He joined the service of Hassan Usman Katsina Polytechnic in 2008. He is currently Project coordinator for HND student in the Department of Civil Engineering. He is married and blessed with children.

ENGR. DR. SAMAILA MUAZU BAWA, joined Polytechnic service on 15thApril 2006 as an Assistant Lecturer. Qualifications obtained: National Diploma in Building and Quantity Surveying from Hassan Usman Katsina Polytechnic1997/98, Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering from Bayero University Kano 2004, Master Degree in Civil Engineering from Bayero University Kano 2011,Phd in Civil Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Techonolgy Wuhan China2015, Professional Diploma in Education from Institute of Education ABU Zaria 2019. He specialized in structures, mechanics, CAD in Civil Engineeringand material behavioral investigations in the field of Civil Engineering. A registered corporate member of the Council for theRegulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) and Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE). He has conducted numerous researches, fabrications, attended local and international conferences,trainingsand publishedpapers in reputable local&internationaljournals. He is into the consultancy services forthe design and supervision of civil engineering constructions.He has developed among other things softwarefor civil engineering design, a machine for the prediction of Concrete Compressive strengthetc.He hasbeen awarded certificate of excellencesat differentcapacities such as that of an academic performance as thebest all round student, best content & best paper presenter attheinternational conference of Natural science and EngineeringDubai 2016, excelled in the National Technology and Innovation Expo Abuja 2017.He has handled different functions/responsibilities in and outside the polytechnic, served under various committees in and outside the polytechnic, post under professional associations etc. He is now asenior Lecturer handling different courses of civil engineering programme.

Abdulaziz Dayyabu
obtained a Masters degree in Civil Engineering (Construction Management) from Bayero
University Kano in 2019. He specialized in infrastructural development such as
structural and geometric design and construction project management and
supervision. Abdulaziz has published one international journal. He is currently
the head of waste water and irrigation laboratory. He works in various
construction projects both residency and consultancy capacity. He has
registered with various engineering and management professional bodies
including Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN),
Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) and Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM).
He is happily married and blessed with one kid.
